Wanted!!! Women in Solar*
Marlene Brown (former NMSEA Board President, Photovoltaic "PV" design
instructor, and engineer) is organizing a “Women in Solar” panel at the
NM Solar Energy Association (NMSEA) Solar Fiesta! - this year at
Albuquerque Academy, Sunday August 27 from 3-5 pm.
Marlene created something quite similar to this panel for the ASES
(American Solar Energy Society) conference to promote women who are
working in all aspects of solar to encourage other women to get involved.
Approximately one hour will be devoted to hearing from women who have
either taken Marlene's PV design & installation class or another class
where a PV or renewable energy system was installed. Are you one of
those women? Are you attending the Solar Fiesta? Please don’t reply to
NMSEA, but to Marlene Brown directly: mbrown at sandia.gov Four women are
needed as volunteers on this panel to tell their story. More detail
available upon inquiry.
