Solar Nation Action Alert: A special deal for the holidays - ASES
membership at a steep discount!
Join the American Solar Energy Society (ASES) before the end of January for less than two-thirds of the regular price!
ASES is the foremost nonprofit association of solar advocates, educators, legislators, and professionals in the United States.
It's where people interested in solar go to learn more; where people looking to install solar go to find professionals in their area and where
those professionals go to stay informed, build connections and join technical groups.
Established in 1954, ASES has provided educational opportunities for professionals and advocates, helped shape policy both locally and nationally,
and produced the award-winning SOLAR TODAY magazine.
As ASES Board member Nate Mitten says, "ASES was proclaiming the promise of renewable energy a long, long time before 'green' was mainstream."
SOLAR TODAY magazine connects you to the leading solar energy experts. FINDSOLAR locates solar installers and tells you about solar incentives.
The ASES NATIONAL SOLAR CONFERENCE is America's leading educational conference for solar energy professionals. The ASES NATIONAL
SOLAR TOUR is the world's largest grassroots solar energy event.

_**DECEMBER 30: Climate Change Solutions Film Screening w/Director -
/Los Alamos, NM
/*
*This Thursday!
*
*7PM at Pajarito Environmental Education Center (PEEC)
*
“The Next Frontier: Engineering the Golden Age of Green,” a new
documentary describing solutions to problems of climate change, will be
shown at PEEC, 3540 Orange Street in Los Alamos, on Thursday, December
30, at 7 p.m. Brad Marshland, director and filmmaker, will be present
to introduce the film and answer questions after the screening.
“The Next Frontier” cuts through the debate about global warming and
climate change. Instead, it focuses on the renewable, clean energy
technologies that can improve our future and create significant economic
opportunities. Filmed in stunning high-definition, the movie takes you
around the world to see how other countries are changing the ways they
use energy, and then returns to the US to ask, can Americans do the same?
Host Becky Worley, of ABC’s Good Morning America, interviews some of the
top energy and economic experts in the country, along with educators and
high-level government officials, to see how they are working to develop
clean energy solutions.
The documentary has been shown around the country on ABC and PBS
stations. Now is your chance to meet the director and discuss the
filming and ideas behind the movie with him. The screening is free, but
donations are appreciated to support PEEC’s programs. For more
information, go to www.PajaritoEEC.org
