The deadline for the submission of advertising, articles, and chapter 
news for the Nov/Dec SunPaper is Friday, December 17 at 5pm. If you wish 
to submit an article, you should know that preference is given to solar 
energy topics (PV, passive, technology, performance histories, 
incentives, cost benefits, etc.), but we will also consider other 
renewable energy subjects, as space allows. Please send submissions by 
e-mail directly to rhermansolar at aol.com <mailto:rhermansolar at aol.com>. 
(No .docx, please.)

a resolution of at least 250 dpi in JPEG, TIF, or PDF format. Text ads

Learn about the Federal Housing Administration (FHA) PowerSaver Loan 
program that was recently announced by Vice President Biden and Housing 
and Urban Development (HUD) Secretary Donovan. HUD's FHA is seeking 
expressions of interest from lending institutions to participate in the 
program. PowerSaver will offer low-cost, federally-insured financing for 
home energy improvements. This Webinar is being hosted by 
representatives from HUD and will provide information on the following:

    * Description of the PowerSaver loan product for home energy
      improvements
    * Overview of the opportunity for DOE Recovery Act grantees to
      participate in the program
    * Next steps to attract local lending partners to participate in the
      pilot program.
