APRIL 2 & 3 - NEW MEXICO RENEWABLE ENERGY CONFERENCE (NMREC)
"RENEW NEW MEXICO"
The New Mexico Rural Alliance, Regional Development
Corporation, and Greater Tucumcari Economic Development Corporation proudly
announce the 2008 New Mexico Renewable Energy Conference (NMREC) "RENEW NEW MEXICO" to be held April 2-3, 2008 at the
Convention Center in Tucumcari,
New Mexico.
The goal of the NMREC is to provide a window to the future of
renewable energy in New Mexico. It will offer insight to the evolving
energy market and present growth strategies to entrepreneurs,
landowners, farmers, ranchers, dairymen, counties, municipalities,
schools and all other interested parties. By importing noted experts
in green energy development, the NMREC will show how New Mexico and
New Mexicans can reap fantastic profits from renewable energy, while
reducing our nation's dangerous dependence on foreign fossil fuel sources.
New Mexicans have great potential to produce energy from wind, solar,
and biomass utilizing technologies and equipment already available,
but which are constantly being improved through technological
innovations that increase generation efficiency. NMREC will present
that potential and the latest technologies and equipment.
With global demand for energy far outpacing supply, amid rising concerns
regarding climate change and the very security of our nation, there has
never been a better time for a forum such as the 2008 N.M. Renewable
Energy Conference.
Sincerely,
Gene Hendrick Patrick
